Library Centennial Events for February

The Reinbeck Library continues its 100th year celebration with several February events. On Tuesday Feb 6th at 2:30, veterinarian and author James Kenyon will be Westview Estates to talk about his experiences as well as his book "The Art of Listening to the Heart." Everyone is welcome.

On Saturday Feb. 10th beginning at 2:00 the library is hosting a Trivia Challenge in the Legion Room of the Memorial Building. This is co-sponsored by the Grundy County Library Association and all county libraries will be holding a challenge that day. The winners at each site will be eligible to move to the county-wide challenge to be held April 14th at the Dike Library from 2:00 4:00 p.m. No entrance fee is being charged and the bar will be open during the challenge. Participants can register teams of up to 8 at the library ahead of time or that day upon arrival. Michele Knaack will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.

Beginning on Feb. 5 the library will be participating in a Golden Ticket hunt. Hidden in library materials throughout the library will be 100 golden tickets. Find one and win a Centennial book bag and writing pad. (one per patron please). The tickets will be hidden until all 100 have been found. Come on in, find a good book to read and you may be a winner!
