GR girls suffer home loss to Starmont

REINBECK - The Gladbrook-Reinbeck girls' basketball team suffered their third-straight loss, falling victim to a comeback from Starmont, 53-49, in Thursday's non-conference clash.

The Rebels (6-15) led 34-32 going into the final period before the visiting Stars (4-16) rallied for the win.

Taylor Gienger led Gladbrook-Reinbeck with 17 points, while Saari Kuehl had 12 points. Megan Swanson chipped in seven points and seven rebounds, and Haleigh Berendes added six points and a team-high 10 rebounds.
