Kickbush helps Rebels rip Starmont

REINBECK - Caden Kickbush returned from an ankle injury to score a game-high 25 points as Gladbrook-Reinbeck demolished Starmont 82-34 in Thursday's non-conference contest.

Kickbush went 10-for-12 from the field, making three 3-pointers, and led the Rebels (13-5) with nine rebounds. G-R led wire-to-wire, going in front 25-4 in the first quarter and coasting to the win.

Walker Thede added 15 points and four assists, and Jackson Kiburis finished with nine points, five rebounds and four assists. Mason Skovgard finished with nine points and eight boards.

Starmont (8-12) had won six of its previous seven games before Thursday's decisive setback.
