Are you wanting to learn a new language? The library now offers access to Transparent Language Online. Go to our website, www.reinbeck.lib.ia.us , click on the Transparent Language icon and set up an account. It's free and self-paced. With over 100 languages to choose from, mobile apps, and tablet support, Transparent Language is more than just an online course. Learners can utilize the program in the library, at home, at work, or wherever they have an Internet connection. Now that it is accessible through the Recorded Books Gateway, users can enjoy easy, single sign-on access to Transparent Language Online.

We are also back into the children's weekly story time on Tuesday mornings at 10:00, now that summer reading is over. Angie Miller did story time for us on July 25 with a Rainbow Fish theme. She will be doing story time again on August 8.

New books at the library this week include:

Nonfiction: Option B by Sheryl Sandberg, Finding Gobi: A Little Dog with a Very Big Heart by Dion Leonard.

Fiction: Phantom Waltz by Catherine Anderson, Down a Dark Road by Linda Castillo, The Nearness of You by Dorothy Garlock, Beautiful Tempest by Johanna Lindsey, Behold the Dreamers by Imbolo Mbue, Two Nights by Kathy Reichs, House of Spies by Daniel Silva, Use of Force by Brad Thor.

Large Print: A Texan's Honor by Shelley Shepard Gray.

Young Adult: The Long Game by Jennifer Barnes and NERVE by Jeanne Ryan.

We also have several new Princess in Black books by Shannon Hale for kids.
