Stop in the library during the month of May and see the nurse collection in our display case. This belongs to Donna Peters and includes quite a variety of items, from dolls and plates to stuffed animals.

Kids should enjoy the next story time which will be held on Tuesday, May 16 at 10:00 a.m. Amanda Koopman will do yoga in addition to stories.

We have several new books for children purchased with memorial money for Jack Shoup: Fancy Nancy: Best Reading Buddies by Jane O'Connor, Fly Guy Presents Weather by Tedd Arnold, Itty Bitty Kitty Firehouse Fun by Joan Holub, Bad Kitty Does not Like Snow by Nick Bruel, Little Red Rolls Away by Linda Whalen, Egg by Kevin Henkes, Why Did the Farmer Cross the Road? by Brooke Herter James and Madeline Finn and the Library Dog by Lisa Papp.

New books for adults (non memorial) include Falling Darkness by Karen Harper, Song of the Lion by Anne Hillerman, No Easy Target by Iris Johansen, Golden Prey by John Sandford, The Hope Chest by Viola Shipman and in large print: The Promise Girls by Marie Bostwick and Traveling Light by Lynne Branard.

We also have a new audio CD: Echoes in Death by J. D. Robb and a DVD, La La Land.
